Some of you may have already met our newest member of the team following the departure of Tyran.

Allow me to introduce Adam Spinks.

Adam is a recent graduate from Staffordshire University and has taken on the role of Sport Therapist/Exercise Coach. At just 21 years old, he completed a Sports Therapy Bsc and achieved a First Class Degree with Honours! What a fantastic achievement.

If you have a session with Adam you will be working hard! He works with you and your personalised programmes to ensure you get the most out of your time with us. Whether it is exercising, assessing you for an injury or a sports massage.

Through his university degree and work so far with us at JT Ethos Adam has experienced lots of different challenges. It has been quite a steep learning curve picking up all the things they don’t teach you in the lecture hall. He is motivated by his passion for learning about the human body and his drive to become an experienced and successful practitioner.

Adam’s biggest enjoyment at work is the interaction with clients. He enjoys learning about their lifestyle, motivations, goals and generally having a good time whilst exercising!

Not content with the challenges at JT Ethos, Adam also works as a Sports Therapist with Birmingham Ladies FC and has worked with England Netball.

Outside of work Adam’s main passion is football but he also enjoys lots of different sports. These currently include running, skiing, cycling and going to the gym! At the weekends Adam likes to play pool and darts at the local pub with his father as well as reading and watching films or TV series.

Adam’s best achievement to date is completing the “Stafford Arf” Marathon in 1 hour 53 minutes, beating his target time of under 2 hours! “Nobody told me about the huge hill between mile 7 and 10, which was exhausting, although such a good feeling at the end of it all!”

Needless to say I’m thrilled to have Adam as part of the team!
